today skipped ballet cuz have to go and attend some session with the ministers haha, was kinda boring though. but i made a mini speech for everyone today, wearing the councillors blazer ! haha, luckily BCC hall, has air-con. anyway, i was kinda nervous haha, ok ok here's what i said
i'm really interested in the CIB (community-in-bloom). as it helps to beautify our community. but what about HDB void decks ? they are mostly empty and very dull. that's where many people walk past everyday, i believe the residents would like to see much more to be done to beautify their void decks. This can relate to the community of volunteers where youths, like us, could come up with different ideas. Also, residents could work with their neighbours and this way, it could also strengthen ties with one another. this would help in the community-in-bloom as residents would become closer and bond with each other and participate actively.
not bad ba.. haha, that's my mini speech :) phew was really nervous.. anyway the session ended at 5 then went to meet ppl went prawn fishing... spent one hour sitting down but i only managed to catch 3 prawns haha..... ok ok pictures !!!
